Boost Operating Efficiency with Maintenance Management

Timecard Module

With the Azzier Timecard Module, organizations can track every minute spent on personnel labor and contractor/vendor activities. The resulting data flows to numerous Azzier modules, informing planning, expediting problem identification, and ensuring maximum time is devoted to value-added, production-oriented tasks. Expediting data entry while reducing errors, the Timecard Module also enables firms to aggregate employee time for multiple work orders. When timecards are posted, they become Work Order Actuals, thereby eliminating the need for duplicate data entry.

Preventive Maintenance (PM) Module

With the extensive number of assets to be maintained throughout a facility, preventive maintenance (PM) plays a key role in facility management. Furthermore, automating maintenance management with a solution like Azzier can improve equipment reliability by as much as 50%.

With Azzier Preventive Maintenance, PM schedules can be produced (or suppressed, when appropriate) based on a variety of triggers or schedules created by time period, meter readings with fixed or moving schedules, usage or repetitive work, and/or regular/seasonal activities. Override dates allow for PMs to be “pushed” out of the system early when necessary. Nested PMs allow the user to set up multiple PMs with multiple procedures on a single work order to consolidate work.

PMs can be updated dynamically from Work Order Actuals to ensure more accurate estimating of required tasks, materials and labor requirements, going forward. Detailed accounting information can be established on the PM before the work order is generated.

Procedure Module

With the Procedure Module, users can track all tasks, labor, materials, services and tools required to complete a job. Complete job plans can be added to work orders or preventive maintenance schedules to reduce data entry. All job plans are easily maintained in Azzier’s procedure library. This module also facilitates the establishment of procedure libraries, which both ensure continuity and support long-range cost reduction and performance optimization.

Predictive Maintenance Module

The ability to predict when an asset may be experiencing problems or could fail is a critical and necessary element of any sound maintenance program. Azzier’s Predictive Maintenance (PdM) module uses readings from the asset, captured either real-time or manually, and benchmarks them against fully configurable limits and warnings containing upper and lower thresholds.

High/low temperatures or high/low current draws can be used to trigger a work order (emergency or high priority, based on readings) to be generated and emailed automatically. Companies committed to “Carbon Neutral “or “Power Efficiency” programs and plans can use the readings and PdM Module to ensure assets are operating at peak efficiency and effluent or exhaust is within threshold limits. Sampling along production lines can be monitored real-time and automated actions are taken when the ppm of the sample falls out of specification.

Route Reading

The Route Reading module records readings such as temperature, wear and/or vibration in one convenient location and transmits it to other Azzier modules for recording and visualization. It supports taking multiple readings and streamlining different meters into one organized path for efficient data collection. The module allows manual entry when an interface is unavailable. Users can then record this information via a desktop or mobile device, using a user-friendly data entry screen to maintain data integrity.

Work Orders

The Work Order module offers core support for daily maintenance and operations as well as tracking activity-based costing for reporting of labor, material, and tools if desired. Fully editable after creation, Work Orders may be generated from the Work Request module, from maintenance schedules, or on-demand. Material reservations are then routed to inventory or purchasing as appropriate. The record maintains/tracks all aspects of work, with account codes if desired, including such elements as tasks, labor and materials, fault codes, downtime and asset costs. It can also send automatic notifications to specified parties.

Work Request Module

This feature provides functionality similar to that of a customer service center. Requesters can submit work requests in an easy-to-use format, with email notifications keeping them apprised of progress on their requests. Requesters can review the status of the request and any estimated costs proposed to complete their request.
